All Star Line-Up For The 'State of Industry Town Hall

The Golf Industry Expo has announced an all-star line-up for the hotly anticipated “State of the Golf Industry Town Hall”. With considerable changes happening around the world and within the golf industry, the upcoming Golf Industry Expo is a must-attend event for anyone who works in the golf business industry today. Admission to the session is compliments of the PGA of Ontario and Pro Shop Magazine/golfindustrynetwork.ca.

Rob Roxborough, Executive Director at the National Golf Club will host and moderate the Town Hall.

PGA of Canada – Ontario Zone - Coaching Technology Workshop

Liam Mucklow of The Golf Lab will be hosting a hands on coaching workshop on Thursday November 2nd at our Industry Trade Show.  This event will give participants the opportunity to use state of the art coaching technology like the Foresight GCQuad, Swing Catalyst Balance Plate, and Kvest 3D Motion Capture.   This event will be limited to 18 people to ensure maximum contact time with each technology piece.  Over the course of the afternoon Liam will guide the groups through the data capture, interpretation, and interventions measurable by each piece of technology.

Objective:           To provide a high value “hands on” educational experience for the membership.  

Format:                This 4 hour workshop will be spread out into 3 modules; Launch Monitors, 3D Motion Capture, and Ground Reaction Forces.  In each Module participants will have the opportunity to use the technology to measure interventions. Participants will have a 45 minute introduction to each of the three pieces of technology, as well as the exercises they will go through.  From there the class will be split into three small groups to rotate through the technology stations.

Tuition:                $175 plus HST (minimum 10 people)
