Gary Jeffrey continues his dominance of PGA of Ontario Senior Series

FONTHILL, ON - Last week the PGA of Ontario continued their season long Senior Player of the Year Series at Lookout Point Golf Club.  Gary Jeffrey (Golf Town Barrie) took the Senior Spring Open by one stroke earlier this season and was looking to continue his red hot play in the Senior Summer Challenge.  The PGA of Ontario Summer Challenge events use a stableford point format and at days end Jeffrey found himself all square with the National Golf Club's Keir Smith at 35 points.  Carding three birdies at the extremely difficult but equally stunning Lookout Point, Jeffrey finished his round with a 1-over 73.  "It's always a treat to come to Lookout.  It's such a beautiful property and it's a true test.  You have to play well to score here", Jeffrey said after his round.  Jeffrey has now won the first two events on the Senior Player of the Year Series schedule and has his eye on the sweep.  The next leg on Jeffrey's bid for dominance is the PGA of Ontario Senior Championship on August 31-Septempber 1 at Flamborough Hills Golf Club.
