Steinschifter's personal best is more than enough at Futures Summer Challenge

NIAGARA FALLS, ON - Adam Steinschifter picked a pretty good time for his best round of his life.  Coming off an impressive T34 finish the previous week at his home track (St. Catharines Golf & CC) in the PGA of Ontario Championship, Steinschifter caught fire at the Chase 54 Futures Summer Challenge last week.  The 29 year old scored 43 stableford points and his closest rival was Angus Glen Golf Club's Cory Racioppo who trailed by seven.  His bogey-free 65 had 7 birdies and no mistakes.  "I've had some nice rounds before but nothing like this," Steinschifter said with a smile.  "I kept waiting for the hot streak to end but it never did.  I guess I was just feeling it.  The swing felt awesome and the ball went where I wanted it to go, so you'll find no complaints from me".  The PGA of Ontario Futures Player of the Year Series presented by Chase 54 has been gaining more traction among the younger professionals in its sophomore year.  Steinschifter couldn't help but change gears after his round to encourage other young professionals to come out and support this growing series.  "I really don't see why guys and girls wouldn't come out and play.  The $50 entry fee is hard to beat for any competitive tour anywhere.  It's a great time and an amazing opportunity to network and get to know some of the guys you will be seeing for your entire career."  The Chase 54 Futures Player of the Year Series next stop is the Futures Fall Classic being held at Stratford Country Club on September 2nd
